What the subscription provides
MiloPrep offers video lessons, study materials, practice and progress analysis across the supported exam libraries. Premium is $49/month or $99 every 3 months. Account signup is separate from requesting a free PDF by email.
Compare the cost over your expected access period. Three monthly payments and one quarterly payment are different billing choices; a longer preparation period can change the total. Exam registration, education coursework and third-party class fees are separate.

When to consider Dalton
If scheduled classes and instructor access are essential to your routine, compare Dalton’s actual schedule with the study hours you can protect. If your need is flexible instruction and recurring practice, inspect the subscription experience with a topic that is currently weak.
Ask what happens after an incorrect answer. Can you locate the missing rule, work a changed example and measure improvement on unfamiliar material? A provider’s readiness indicator should be evaluated as its own tool, not treated as an official CFP Board result.
Put a value on the guarantee only after checking its conditions
The checked package difference is $836 between the $1,659 review and $2,495 Guarantee to Pass offering. That increment includes package differences; it is not simply an insurance premium with a known payout. Read the agreement associated with the selected enrollment before treating a possible refund or other remedy as certain.
Use a short requirements ledger: required activities, completion evidence, dates, assessment conditions, claim procedure and remedy. If a condition depends on completing assigned work, compare that work with the time you can protect. A benefit that you cannot qualify for has a different practical value from the headline promise.
Original example: a candidate is attracted to a guarantee but already expects to miss part of the required preparation. The next action is to establish eligibility under the actual terms and revise the schedule if necessary. Assuming the label guarantees a refund would leave the purchasing decision unsupported.
| Contract question | Evidence to retain |
|---|---|
| What work must I complete? | The selected package’s written conditions |
| By which deadlines? | A schedule linked to the intended exam |
| How is completion demonstrated? | The provider’s accepted records |
| What happens after an unsuccessful result? | The remedy and claim procedure in the agreement |
Assess the complete instruction-to-review sequence
The useful comparison is what happens between encountering a weak concept and solving a new case correctly. Inspect a lesson, an unfamiliar question and its explanation. Identify whether the explanation helps you locate the exact rule or assumption you missed, then check whether you can apply it in a variation.
For instructor-led options, include attendance and follow-up review in your weekly budget. Watching a recorded class later uses time too. A readiness indicator should be interpreted with the attempt conditions and topic coverage; no third-party score is the CFP Board result. Choosing additional subscription access makes sense only if it fills a specific gap left by the resources already available to you.
Compare the access period you would actually buy
The subscription calculation below uses current published billing prices and full billing cycles. It assumes the same prices throughout, no discounts or taxes, and cancellation before the next unwanted renewal. Quarterly billing buys a three-month period; this table does not assume a prorated refund for unused months.
Compare the relevant subscription amount with the exact provider package, then account for the difference in services. A class, instructor access, coursework, printed materials and a study subscription are not interchangeable units. The lower price does not establish equivalent coverage or a better learning outcome.

What this comparison can and cannot establish
The table compares publicly described resources and our published product access. We have not completed a controlled learning-outcome comparison, verified comparable pass rates or independently tested every provider feature.
Use the cited provider pages to verify package terms, then use a demo or sample to judge whether the teaching and feedback fit your needs. A feature count is not evidence that a course will produce a better result.
Questions about this topic
Does the guarantee prove Dalton has a better pass rate?
No. Contract terms and provider outcome claims are different from independently comparable results. This page has not verified a controlled candidate-outcome dataset.
Do I need to buy both services?
Start with the gap in your current preparation. Another purchase is useful only if it adds a capability you need and will use, such as instruction, fresh practice, feedback or a scheduled class.
